OB Market
Haven’t taken pictures in a while, so I’ve been wanting to get back into it. I went to the OB market in San Diego and ended up taking pictures of more beach stuff. I ended up taking some of my best work yet, but I do say that every shoot, so who knows if it’s true took my Sony A6100 out and my 28-75 mm lens like always, and I took a lot of pictures of couples. Definitely starting to find my photography style, though.
Coronado
Went to Coronado around December and took some pictures. I don't remember much about this photoshoot, so not much to say, but I do love the look and style of these photos
Julian Hike
Drove almost 2 hours to go on a 7-mile hike, took pictures during the hike, and in a small town nearby, brought a half-charged battery and my 24-70 mm, still don’t know how my camera didn’t die
Belmont Park
Went to Belmont Park to take some pictures, thought I took some good photos, also really liked how I edited some, and some others were okay
GradNite
It was my senior Gradnite, and I brought my camera and decided to take pictures. I really liked the colors, and I also really enjoyed doing this, both because I was with friends and also because I was able to ride rides
Point Loma
It was my senior ditch day, and I thought it would be cool to go and hike at Point Loma and take some pictures. I absolutely love this photoshoot, and as I say with all my sessions, I think this may be the best
La Mesa
Went to downtown La Mesa to take pictures, not my best work, but I was also on a date at the same time, so it’s good enough. I wanted to try and focus more on framing and thinking about the shots I take instead of just going through the motions, and I definitely did better, but I still need to work on being in the moment more
Canyon Hike
Went on a hike along a canyon trail near my house and found some cool spots. brought my 24-70 and tried to focus on framing shots and taking fewer pictures to be more creative
Rugby Championship
I used to play rugby for my school, and it was their championship game, so I pulled up and took pictures. Ended up editing the most amount of pictures from a shoot, I also got some footage too, mostly used my 70-200, but the autofocus on that lens is lowkey shit, so many good photos that are out of focus. Also, my camera isn’t great in low light situations had to use AI denoise to get these photos to look good
Wrestling Senior Night
I decided to pull up to my schools wrestling senior night and get some flics, used my 24-70
Sunset Beach Hike
I went on a hike with one of my friends and brought my camera with me, just the 24-70 lens, and I took these pictures thought they were awesome. I tried to mess with more colors and make the colors of the sky stand out more
Basketball Shoot v2
2nd Basketball game I’ve shot, and it turned out pretty good. I used my 28-75 lens the entire time, and I tried to get interesting shots of players and also coaches this time. I also tried to edit the photos to be brighter and not as dark and changed my color grading a bit, and I definitely like this better.
First Car Shoot
This was my first Photoshoot with a car, and I REALLY liked how these photos turned out, the style of editing I chose, and the shots and framing I did for a lot of them. I got so many photos also, that I edited. It wasn’t just Cars, either. I also took pictures of my friends posing for some cool shots. I used the 28-75 lens entirely.
First Basketball Shoot
This was my first Basketball shoot, and I feel like I got some really good photos. I really liked the style of editing I did. I mostly shot with my 28-75, and I did some with the 70-200 in the stands so I could also hang with some friends and not just be on the floor overall. It was a really good shoot with some good photos
Little Italy, SD
I Just got a Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 lens this morning, and thought it would be cool to go down to Little Italy and take some new photos. I’ve been wanting to try street photography for a while, and I was finally able to get a lens that would work well for it. I really like how these turned out. I tried to make them super soft and almost film-like. I also met a lot of cool people today while walking around
Hoco Photos
I took some Photos of my friend and his date to Hoco. It was my first time doing portraits and I feel like it turned out really good. made some mistakes like shooting at a low aperture f 1.8 and also shot in front of the sun which messed up some shots but I know what to do better next time.
Hoco Game
Photos I took at my high school homecoming game I messed around a lot with colors and masking to try and get really good edits. I also focused more on defense in these photos instead of just offense
